Road to Nova Scotia

After Monterey we started heading for Big Sur! We started out this leg of the trip on the 17 mile drive and checking out Pebble Beach golf course! It was absolutely beautiful. Then we continued our trek to iconic Big Sur! The drive was scenic and beautiful and we stayed at the cutest campground. They even gave us complementary coffee mugs! We spent two days at this campground and I spent the majority of my time in our folding couch with a blanket, a book, Kida by my side, and a boozy hot chocolate in my hand. It was spectacular. Sierra was nice enough to spend her time doing some laundry, keeping me supplied with boozy hot chocolates, as well as catching the all the snippets of football that our service allowed. 

When it was finally time for us to go we unfortunately realized that the highway through Big Sur was completely closed just a few miles down from where we stayed. Forcing us to double back from where we came from about an hour. Fortunately, that drive was a different kind of beautiful filled with beautiful rolling hills and we we ended up staying at the same place we were originally gonna stay at so we didn’t get set back at all!
