Cats and Dog, it’s raining.

Continuing down the Oregon Coast in a torrential down pour. Ocean breeze, haven’t met her, but we’re now well acquainted with the gusts!

Learning Experience #5 when it’s raining sideways shut the damn oven vent

We resealed the RV roof prior to leaving Duluth and though I’m not known for my work with caulk it’s safe to say our pots and pans are spared for cooking only and we have no roof leaks!

We stopped at a few scenic outlooks and hiking trails on our way down to Sunset Bay State Park in Oregon. Thors Well had some spectacular views and was an incredible geological feature, at high tide the waves crash over and the water disappears into a massive hole in the rocks. Some of the waves sprays from crashing into the rocks were around 100’ wide and 75’ tall. Meghan planned this leg of the trip and absolutely nailed the timing!

We stopped and ate lunch at a Sand Dune State park, Kida, Maggie, and Charlie all got to sample a shrimp before Seafood was banished from the RV.
